Owltavi is a Dubstep & Hybrid Bass producer/DJ from Denver, CO. With a focus on local community & collaboration, his message is simple; it’s not that serious. This mantra is present throughout owl’s discography and immersive live performances. Serving as a reminder that while taking yourself seriously is essential, overthinking is the death of creation. In other words, art doesn’t need to be perfect to have purpose.

Although he was born and raised in Colorado, he spent his high school years in Louisiana. These two places are weaved through his identity. The “owl” is a symbol of his inner child, while “tavi” represents his growth into who he is now. The combined name embodies all aspects of his project, and relate respectively to his two homes — The mountains and the bayou.
